Lounge at New York Comic Con celebrates the work of LGBT+ artists and their allies in the world of graphic novels and pop culture.

The Queer & Ally Lounge is presented by SPI Marketing in partnership with Spin Cycle. Located within New York Comic Con, it will be open during show floor hours October 7-10 at the Javits Center in New York City. Admission for all panels, activities, and shows in the Queer & Ally Lounge is free (unless noted), but you must already have tickets/admission to Comic Con. The Lounge is located on the first floor in Room 1C02.
THE DOMINIQUE JACKSON COMIC PROJECT:
Pose star Dominique Jackson has joined forces with some of the biggest LGBTQ names in comics to create exciting new work to benefit GLSEN, the Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network. Artists Isaac Goodhart (Under the Moon: A Catwoman Tale) and Dan Parent (who created Kevin Keller, the first gay character in the Archie Universe) have created original limited edition posters of Dominique imagined into the world of comics. Goodhart has designed a poster featuring Dominique in the role of The X-Men's Storm, and another of Dominique as the iconic Wonder Woman. Parent has placed Dominique into the world of Archie, with Dominique joining Betty and Veronica in a fashion show at Pop's Malt Shop, with Archie, Jughead, and Kevin Keller enjoying the show.
The limited edition run of each poster is 250 copies. Each poster sells for $25, with 100% of the sale benefiting GLSEN. Each poster will be released at the Queer & Ally Lounge on a different day, with the artist available to sign the poster. The first 35 people to purchase the poster each day will receive a wristband guaranteeing a spot for the signing on Saturday by Dominique Jackson. After all wristband holders' posters are signed Dominique will sign others on a time-available basis.The schedule for the releases and signings are as follows:
• THURSDAY, OCTOBER 7
Noon: Release of Dominique Jackson as Storm poster by Isaac Goodhart (pictured above). Isaac will be available to sign the poster upon purchase.
• FRIDAY, OCTOBER 8
Noon: Release of Dominique Jackson Meets the Archie Gang poster by Dan Parent. Dan will be available to sign the poster upon purchase.
• SATURDAY, OCTOBER 9
Noon: Release of Dominique Jackson as Wonder Woman poster by Isaac Goodhart. Isaac will be available to sign the poster upon purchase.
1:00 PM: Dominique Jackson Signing. Dominique will sign posters already purchased. Wristband holders will receive priority, Dominique will sign other posters within time available. Lines for Dominique's signings begin forming at noon.
RUPAUL'S DRAG RACE STARS IN PERSON:
• THURSDAY, OCTOBER 7
2:30 PM - 5:00 PM: Your favorite stars from RuPaul's Drag Race -- including Tammie Brown, Jackie Cox, and Yuhua Hamasaki -- will be at the Queer & Ally Lounge signing photos, t-shirts, and other merchandise. Sashay over and check them out!
