" A born performer whose talents --- an effulgent charm, a sharp way with a well-shaped anecdote and acting ability of real depth and variety --- are spectacularly well suited to the demanding requirements of this theatrical form " --  Charles Isherwood, Variety

"Truly insightful, hilarious, pungent and persuasive... See it! It says something important about how we live today." -- Edge

"Both funny and poignant" -- BistroAwards.com

"By turns filthy, fierce and fabulous, Mapa’s seemingly mundane anecdotes are an outrageous delight... utterly divine." -- Next Magazine

After acclaimed runs in New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles and being filmed as a comedy special for Showtime, ALEC MAPA (Desperate Housewives, Ugly Betty, The View, RuPaul's Drag Race) will present the Georgia premiere of ALEC MAPA: BABY DADDY on Saturday, November 12 at Out Front Theatre Company.

In ALEC MAPA: BABY DADDY "America's Gaysian Sweetheart" hilariously recounts his heart-stopping adventures on the road to fatherhood. Recently, Alec's life was turned upside down when he and his husband, producer Jamison Hebert (Bullied) adopted a five-year old boy. Can one man go from stand-up gigs, red carpets, gay cruises, and circuit parties to being a responsible, carpool driving P.T.A. member?

ALEC MAPA: BABY DADDY will be performed Saturday, November 12 at 8pm at Out Front Theatre Company (999 Brady Ave NW, Atlanta, GA 30318). Tickets are $25 for general admission / $40 for VIP (includes a complimentary cocktail and meet-and-greet). For tickets and info visit www.outfronttheatre.com.
