In her solo cabaret debut, KENNEDY DAVENPORT, most recognizable for her appearances on America’s Got Talent and RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 7, offers THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO KENNEDY DAVENPORT. It will run for one performance only: Friday, March 24 at 10pm at The Laurie Beechman Theatre (inside West Bank Cafe at 407 West 42nd Street -- at Ninth Avenue, accessible from the A,C,E,N,R,V,F,1,2,3 trains at 42nd Street). Tickets are $22, with a $20 food/drink minimum. In THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO KENNEDY DAVENPORT Miss Kennedy Davenport, best known as the Ten Dancing Toes of Texas and one of the preeminent pageant competitors in the country, shows us yet another side of herself. After showcasing her vocal talents in Latrice Royale’s “Why It Gotta Be White Christmas?,” Kennedy is ready to thrill New York audiences again with her interpretations of material ranging from standard musical theater, to gospel and R&B. All of this while sharing her life perspective as only she can, sharing moments and struggles from her own life that were not featured on television, and encouraging us all to remember that, according to THE GOSPEL, we will all see a better day. Can I get an AMEN!?!?

KENNEDY DAVENPORT finished  in 4th place on RuPaul's Drag Race season 7. She hails from Dallas, Texas and attended the BFA Dance Program at the North Carolina School of the Arts.
