Fasten your seatbelt. Grab your vaccination card. And make sure to wear protection. S.A.F.E (Sam, Ashley, Franqi, and Eman) are bringing S.A.F.E. WORDS to Caveat on Tuesday, June 22 at 7pm. This acclaimed foursome of diverse and proudly queer comics will leave you begging for more as they unite to celebrate LGBT+ Pride 2021. S.A.F.E. WORDS is hosted by Sam Morrison (Bravo TV's Blind Date) with Ashley Gavin (We’re Having Gay Sex podcast), Franqi French (Variety’s 10 Comics To Watch 2020) and Eman El-Husseini (Just For Laughs).

General admission tickets for S.A.F.E. WORDS are $20 in advance / $25 at the door. VIP tickets that include reserved seating and a post-show meet-and-greet are $30 in advance / $35 at the door. There is no drink minimum at this venue. Tickets may be purchased at www.caveat.nyc. Caveat is located at 21A Clinton Street between Houston and Stanton Streets on the Lower East Side -- accessible from the F/J/M/Z trains at Delancey-Essex.

All S.A.F.E. WORDS attendees must present proof of full vaccination to enter. Proof can be via the New York State Excelsior pass, a physical copy of the CDC card, a photo of your CDC card, or other electronic record of vaccination includes name and date (e.g., some chain pharmacies have an app with this information). In all cases the name must match that on your photo ID.

Sam Morrison has performed standup at the most prestigious showcases in the country including the Stand-up NBC Finals at The Hollywood Improv, The Tonight Show showcase at New York Comedy Club, RuPaul’s DragCon, and Best of New Talent at TBS’ New York Comedy Festival. He is also a writer on Blind Date, hosted by Nikki Glaser, on Bravo TV. He has been featured in the NY Times, Time Out, GQ, Vanity Fair, Buzzfeed, National Lampoon, The Independent, The Guardian, Metro UK, and his writing has been published in Chortle. You may have seen him on the Travel Channel, PBS, or heard him on SiriusXM. His debut solo show ‘Hello, Daddy’ at the Edinburgh Festival in 2019 met with critical acclaim and Sam got listed as one of the best of the fringe from multiple publications including the Independent, GQ and Edinburgh Evening News.

Ashley Gavin is a comedian, actor, and writer best known for her top charting podcast We’re Having Gay Sex. Her viral comedy and sketch videos on TikTok have earned her 500k followers, over 30 million views, and the occasional free smoothie. Ashley and her podcast have been mentioned in People, Forbes, Us Weekly, Out, and was named a 2020 best comedy podcast by Paste Magazine. Ashley’s stand up has been featured on AXS TV Live at Gotham, Laughs on Hulu, and SiriusXM channels including Comedy Central, Netflix is a Joke, and Raw Dog. Ashley is known for her confidence, social commentary and unrelenting energy on stage. She is the only angry lesbian beloved by all, including old, straight, white guys. If you don’t believe it, she was Carnival Cruiseline’s first openly gay comedian. She exploded on the internet this year by showcasing her rare ability to authentically engage and improvise with guests on her podcast and audience members while on stage.

Variety recently named Franqi French one of the 2020 - 10 Comics to watch! Make sure you check out the full feature in the September 29th issue. In 2019, NBC crowned her the winner of their National Standup Up Comedy competition and due in 2021 is her first 1 hour comedy special: M.A.D. Out of thousands of submissions and auditions Ms. French was an undeniable stand out. Franqi’ an award-winning talent, who regularly performs coast to coast with appearances at The DC Improv, The Kennedy Center, the Hollywood Improv and the world-famous Comedy Store. Ms. French has shared the stage with Donnell Rawlings, Fortune Feimster, Todd Glass, D.L. Hughley, Nicole Byer, among other talented comedians. She has made guest appearances on WeTV, TVOne’s “The Roland Martin Show,” and she will be a featured comic on season 3 of “Laugh After Dark” on Amazon Prime. Franqi has headlined The Bentzen Ball as well as The Black Women in Comedy Festival in Brooklyn. She is currently based in Los Angeles, CA and will be a featured headliner on the Stand Up NBC Summer Tour!

A Canadian, a Palestinian, a Muslim, and a lesbian walk into a bar … ladies and gentlemen, it’s just Eman El-Husseini. Yes, she’s all those catastrophic identities rolled into one — her life is a current event. From the Muslim ban to Palestinian rights and marriage equality to the ice cream truck that insists on parking in front of her building, it’s all happening and it’s happening to her, especially. Strap in and get comfortable, Eman has a lot to work through. In her decade-long comedy career, Eman has headlined across Canada, opened for Patton Oswalt, and recorded her first comedy album, “Unveiled,” which can be heard regularly on SiriusXM Radio. She currently lives in New York City, legally, thank you very much.
