"hostile, lewd, and riotously funny" -- Time Out
"Beat is a trained theater actress, but no amount of training could make
a person this talented, this witty, or this scathing. The show should just
be called ‘Jackie Beat is a F*cking Genius.’” -- The Village Voice
“a triple-shot barrage of twisted songs, barbed social commentary,
and all-around bad taste” -- Staten Island Advance

JACKIE BEAT loves her gay fans. But she just doesn't understand the sick,
perverted lifestyle that they have chosen to lead. This year, just in time for
Gay Pride, she wants to help. Preaching to the perverted from her bullying
pulpit, JACKIE BEAT: PRAY THE GAY AWAY is an evening of Divine intervention
featuring Beat's award winning comedy and song parodys that slaughter sacred
cows including Madonna, Britney and Lady Gaga. By the end of the evening, you
will be on your knees and en-Raptured, ready for the Second Coming.
Award-winning drag darling JACKIE BEAT has been wowing unsuspecting audiences
since 1989. She has toured with Roseanne Barr -- as the comic legend’s opening
act -- including a 7-week run at The New York New York in Las Vegas; written for
TV (Hype! and The Sci Fi Channel’s Tripping The Rift) and collaborated on
special material with the like of Roseanne, Rosie O’Donnell and Jennifer
Coolidge; appeared in countless TV shows (Sex and the City), movies (Grief,
Wigstock The Movie, Flawless, Adam & Steve) and Off-Broadway hits (Valley of
the Dolls, Tell-Tale!). She has been named Best Drag Queen by New York Press
and Best Live Performance by HX Magazine. Jackie is also a columnist, lead

documentary film My Name is Jackie Beat including commentary from Joan Rivers,
