School is back in session! Come get skooled in "Drag Herstory 101" as Professor Sharon Needles offers a crash course in gender bending pop culture for a post Drag Race generation through a cabaret style show. From Garland to Gaga, make sure to hit the books, because there will be a pop quiz! Don’t be late or you will be marked as tardy! Who wants to be a teacher’s pet??
SHARON NEEDLES, the winner of Season Four of RuPaul's Drag Race, is an accomplished musical performer blending her unique sense of music and fashion into an unforgettable stage show. Sharon Needles debut album, PG-13, rocketed to #4 on the iTunes pop CD chart immediately upon its release. In 2013, she announced a forty-city world tour, extending her “Every Night is Halloween Ball” into Europe, Australia, Canada, and the United States. In 2012 Needles appeared as Frank N. Furter in a stage production of The Rocky Horror Show. A vegetarian, she is the face of an advertising campaign for PETA.
HOT FOR TEACHER runs Friday, October 3 at 10pm. The Cutting Room is located at 44 East 32 Street (between Park and Madison -- accessible from the 6 Train to 33rd Street).
